RISE Power has a unique architecture with a 48VDC common power backbone which seamlessly allows airlines the flexibility to mix and match 15W, 60W, and 110V power across seat zones/classes. With full 15W charging (3 amps) via USB-A ports, passengers can charge their devices 50% faster than competing systems. As passenger demand grows for 60W USB-C charging, airlines can just swap out the jacks. RISE Power’s lightweight seat components remove the need to perform new dynamic seat testing meaning no seat re-certification is required. And, as the seat boxes are as small as an iPhone, they offer no intrusion to passenger legroom.
RISE Power is more reliable and 20% lighter than traditional architectures. Intelligent power-sharing distribution and load shed management ensure greater utilization and efficiency of available power in the cabin, with multiple levels of redundancy bringing passenger facing failures to almost zero. RISE Power also makes maintenance easy with feature-rich usage data reporting on passenger behavior and system performance. This also unlocks revenue opportunities for airlines.
